ESSA AGM 2026
ESSA's AGM is a key event in the association's calendar. Bringing together members to discuss key developments, vote on important matters including ESSA board members, and gain insights into the direction of the association.
Who should attend?
The AGM is a member only event and not limited to any particular seniority within the company.
What sort of topics and speakers will you hear?
The AGM has a number of formalities that ESSA must legally undertake including signing off of the associations accounts.
An election will take place where members* are able to vote upon which ESSA Members they would like to represent them at the ESSA Board Level
Current ESSA Board Members will also provide updates to the membership on what ESSA has been up to over the last 12 months and projects are on the horizon.
*Only full & associate members are eligible to vote. Voting will take place online ahead of the event
Stand for the ESSA Board
The ESSA board is comprised of elected members representing a wide range of event suppliers. Their skills and expertise support and set the strategic direction on the association.
Each year a quarter of the ESSA board who has served a fixed term must either step down or seek re-election if they wish to stay on the Board. At this point, it is also an opportunity for other individuals to seek election.
If you are interested in standing for election to the ESSA Board (full and associate level membership are eligible) you are required to seek a fellow member to propose your nomination.

The deadline for submission of nomination forms is 11am on Thursday the 2nd of July
Forms received after this time/date will not be counted.
